'Brilliant and engaging'
-The Independent-
Trevor Nunn realizes a forty year old dream by at last directing Tom Stoppard's first masterpiece Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead as the second production of his captivating season at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
A verbally scintillating and richly inventive play, Stoppard retells Hamlet through the eyes of two of its minor characters.? Vaguely conscious that they are bit parts in a much bigger story of which they have no direct knowledge, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern hilariously and poignantly inhabit a world completely beyond their grasp.
The cast features Samuel Barnett as Rosencrantz, Jamie Parker as Guildenstern.

Featuring trademark musical interludes, observations and stories of the road, Dandelion Mind is Bill Bailey's latest theatrical offering.
Bill Bailey - Dandelion Mind Overview & Story
Featuring Bill's trademark musical interludes, observations and stories of the road, Dandelion Mind will be based loosely on the theme of doubt (or will it?), as we follow Bill from his real-life saga of being trapped by the ash cloud, to his barely contained rants about celebrity, TV, creationism and Michael Winner. He demonstrates new instruments, both ancient and modern, he sings an internet love song, a lament about punk heroes, Iranian hip-hop, and plays a mean folk-bouzouki. Thomas the Doubter gets a new look, and Darwin's curious obsessions and the myth of intelligent design are all worked over in Bailey's own surreal style. He revisits the music of his youth, with a brand-new French Disco re-working of Gary Numan's hit, Cars, played in his own inimitable way, and maybe some Wurzels-based remixes of classic German techno. Just your normal Bill Bailey gig, then.

Knowing what and who to trust is an increasingly bewildering challenge. Seeking to understand a subject of great complexity, the National Theatre has asked four of the most distinct and exciting playwrights in British theatre to collaborate on a new piece of documentary theatre.
